We are so excited about the possibility of automatic voter registration and we know that it will happen in Washington State. We are not going to be gathering signatures to get our initiative on the 2017 ballot, but it isn’t because we have given up, not even a little. We were connected with Equal Justice Coalition which has the same goals and plans on taking the initiative to a whole new level. Automatic, Same-day and early voter registration all in the same legislation. We are stepping aside this year and we hope to work hard to get this improved initiative on the ballot and passed in 2018.
